On our drive to work this morning, my husband asked me to remind him to stop on our way home to get Powerball tickets... The possibility of winning the $425 million jackpot tonight, while not likely, had us day dreaming for our entire stop and go (due to the lovely Boston traffic) commute...
After going on and on (and on!) about what I'd do if we won, I paused and said "yeah, but even with all of that money, we still wouldn't have a baby of our own". And that sort of silenced us both. Because the truth is, all the money in the world couldn't buy us what we want most in our lives.
So, if we win Powerball tonight, this is our plan:
1.) Quit our jobs
2.) Go straight to CCRM
3.) Pay for everything (in cash!!!)
4.) Fly to Hawaii from Colorado to lay in the sun and to pray, pray, pray for a miracle... that not even all of that money could buy.

I've been following your blog for awhile. I just wanted to encourage you. I know IF totally, completely, utterly sucks. Aubrey,
have any of your REs considered changing your medication to Gonal-F instead of Follistim? I've read that some people respond differently to medications, and thought it may be worth a shot switching to Gonal-F?
I've heard of GREAT things about CCRM, and wanted to know if there was a reason why you weren't going there? I know CCRM is a bit more expensive, but if they're as good as everyone says, I think it would be worth going there and foregoing local treatment. It may save you time, money, emotions, and do less "damage" to your body (if CCRM succeeds the first time!)
Just my thoughts. I'm rooting for you, and hoping you feel better!!!!
Oh my gosh-- our "how to spend our lotto winnings" plan was practically identical to yours!! So unfair that neither of us won!!
